A journal is like a magazine or newspaper that focuses on a specific subject or area, and is written by experts of that subject.Journals are a great research tool – as they are published frequently, they often contain the most up to date information on the subject you are studying, compared to books or even websites.
In the Learning Resource Centres we stock a large range of journals, and you have access to thousands of online journals in the e-library!
You can find out which journals we have (paper journals and e-journals) by searching on the web catalogue and e-library, or by asking a member of LRC staff for help.
