During the Doncaster Book Awards final this Friday there will be a World Record Attempt! School children from the area will be attempting to break the world relay reading record. Children will each read a sentence from last year’s Doncaster Book Award winner (The Thornwaite Inheritance, by Gareth P. Jones), in order and continuous flow. The current record stands at 419 readers, which this record attempt hopes to beat with over 500! Good luck!
